The first Sinatra album I ever owned was "Songs for Swingin' Lovers!" And unlike so many albums made today it was a true experience to listen to each song as Frank Sinatra took me on a romantic journey through some of the best love songs of the Great American Songbook. This album was my introduction to not only the amazing music and lyrics of such Jazz titans as George & Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jimmy Van Heusen, and Johnny Mercer, but also my introduction to the fantastic arrangements of Nelson Riddle.
