John On New WICN Radio Show

If you're in New England, tune into WICN 90.5 FM New England's NPR Jazz and Folk Station. I'm on A Tasteful Blend, Thursday and Friday mornings from 6-9AM Eastern Standard Time. If you're outside the New England area or can't get the station on the radio, go onto www.wicn.org and click on the "Listen Online" Icon to stream it live from anywhere around the world!

I'm now the youngest Radio DJ at the station, playing the music that you and I love from Frank Sinatra to Herbie Hancock, from Stan Getz to Poncho Sanchez, and everyone in between. So tune in and enjoy the best of the best!

NEWS: John Stevens "Home For Christmas" Released

After graduating from Berklee College of Music, I returned home to Buffalo where I began working on my new album "Home For Christmas".

Co-producing, writing, and singing on this album gave me more control, and with what I learned at Berklee, I knew what I wanted to do.
Recorded in my hometown, using musicians from Buffalo it is only right that this year it be a Special Western New York release.

I'm online!

Hey everyone,

Welcome to my new Home on the internet!

I'm so excited to have my own website, where I can personally talk to my fans and update you all on what is going on in my life.

Home For Christmas is out!

When I was home, during my Christmas break of my last year at Berklee College of Music, I met with David Pochatko.  He is an orthopedic surgeon who wrote "The Most Special Day of The Year" and also built his own recording studio in his house.  It was in the tour he was giving of this brand new, state of the art, studio in which the conversation arose of recording an album.  The next step that we took was to pick an arranger, engineer, and musicians.  Enter Phil Sims, Jack Kulp, and a kickin' band!
